  • Read the Job Description: It might sound obvious but make sure you read the job description before applying to make sure it's a good fit for you.
  • Competency: do you have the right qualifications to perform the role? Please do not submit your interest if you are not qualified. We only employee qualified workers.
  • Resume: Make sure your resume is up to date and that you have your most recent work experience and what responsibilities you had.
  • References: Contact your references to make sure that you have the correct up to date contact details and that they are willing to give you a reference.

COVID Marshal Job Description

A COVID Marshal is exclusively responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a COVID-19 Safe Plan, COVID-19 Management Plan, or local COVID-19 prevention plans, policies or protocols are implemented in accordance with our clients' business or activities.

COVID Marshals will actively and freely move around a premises to monitor COVID-19 safety plan actions.

COVID Marshals will be required to complete relevant training as prescribed by NSW Health and Holistic Industries.

It is essential that applicants:

  • have a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card / NSW Interim Certificate
  • complete relevant COVID Marshal training as prescribed by NSW Health and Holistic Industries
  • have a current Driver's Licence and Reliable Transport
  • have knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry.

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Good physical presence
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain resilience within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Flexibility in work hours and availability.
