    1. Read the Job Description: It might sound obvious but make sure you read the job description before applying to make sure it's a good fit for you.
    2. Competency: do you have the right qualifications or licences to perform the role? Please do not submit your interest if you are not qualified. We only employee qualified workers.
    3. Resume: Make sure your resume is up to date and that you have your most recent work experience and responsibilities detailed.
    4. References: Contact your references to make sure that you have the correct up to date contact details and that they are willing to give you a reference.

    RSA Marshal Job Description

    The main responsibilities of an RSA Marshal is to monitor and intervene and assist in the prevention of intoxication and anti-social behaviour. RSA Marshals will be responsible for the resolutions of disputes arising on a premises, therefore demonstrating excellent customer service and conflict management skills, whilst adhering to a scope of works, licensing requirements, and Section 77 of the Liquor and Gaming Act.

    RSA Marshals will also be exclusively responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a COVID-19 Safe Plan, COVID-19 Management Plan, or local COVID-19 prevention plans, policies or protocols are implemented in accordance with our clients' business or activities.

    RSA Marshals MUST possess a current NSW Interim Certificate (following the completion of a NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol course), OR current NSW RSA Competency Card as issued by Liquor and Gaming NSW.

    It is essential that applicants:

    • have a current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card / NSW Interim Certificate
    • complete relevant COVID Marshal training as prescribed by NSW Health and Holistic Industries
    • have a current Driver's Licence and Reliable Transport
    • have knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry.

    The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:

    • Good physical presence
    • Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain resilience within a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
    • Flexibility in work hours and availability.
